Jobot is seeking an experienced BAS Sales Engineer for the Dallas–Fort Worth market. You will drive building automation and HVAC controls opportunities, working with building owners, contractors, engineers, and facility teams to understand needs and deliver practical energy management solutions.

Ideal candidates understand BAS, HVAC, and DDC controls, can read mechanical drawings, and excel at communicating technical details to both engineers and non-technical customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in BAS/BMS, HVAC controls, or DDC controls.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and control diagrams.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop BAS and HVAC controls opportunities throughout the DFW market.
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners, contractors, engineers, and facility managers.
• Meet with customers to understand facilities, existing control systems, and project goals.
• Identify opportunities for BAS upgrades, retrofits, new installations, and energy management solutions.
• Review plans and sequences of operation to help define project scope.
• Perform site walks and gather information for accurate controls solutions.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, operations, and project teams on scopes and proposals.
• Present proposals and explain technical solutions clearly.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and handoff.
