Job summary

Jobot is seeking a BAS Sales Engineer in Atlanta, GA to grow our building automation and HVAC controls business. You will interact with building owners, mechanical contractors, engineers, and facility teams to identify opportunities and deliver solutions that meet project goals.

Ideal candidates understand BAS, HVAC controls and DDC systems, and excel at developing relationships, estimating, and presenting technical proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience with BAS, HVAC controls, DDC, or commercial HVAC.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and sequences of operation.
• Sales, estimating, applications engineering, project management, or controls engineering experience.
• Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop BAS and HVAC controls opportunities in the Atlanta market.
• Build relationships with owners, contractors, engineers, and facility managers.
• Identify opportunities for BAS installations, upgrades, retrofits, service and energy solutions.
• Meet with customers to understand facilities, systems, challenges, and goals.
• Review plans, sequences of operation, and mechanical systems.
• Perform site walks and help define project scope.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, PM, and field teams on proposals.
• Present proposals and technical solutions to customers.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through negotiation and handoff.
• Grow accounts and develop long-term customer relationships.
