The role requires strong communication skills, two years of teller or related experience, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. A business Associate degree is preferred, and CSR training is mandatory after hire.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business and/or equivalent work skills required. Upon acceptance into the position, mandatory completion of FHB CSR School.
• Minimum of 2 years as a commercial savings teller in a financial institution or two years in a retail sales environment selling products and services.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to use judgement and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.
• PC skills in word processing.
• Must be able to type 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to bank customers both inside and outside the branch, promoting the Bank’s products and services including informing the customer of benefits and features.
• Act as an initial contact for referral of the customer to personal bankers and specialized areas of the bank such as consumer and commercial loans, credit cards, etc.
• Always project a professional image and appearance as a representative of the Bank.
