Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative I at the Kaimuki Branch on Oahu to deliver friendly, accurate service to customers inside and outside the branch. You will promote bank products and refer customers to personal bankers and loan specialists as needed.

The role requires strong communication, discretion with confidential information, and basic PC skills, including typing 35 words per minute. Monday–Friday schedule with Saturday rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business and/or equivalent work skills; mandatory completion of FHB CSR School.
• Minimum of 2 years as a commercial savings teller in a financial institution or two years in a retail sales environment selling products and services.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills to perform sales presentations to individuals and groups.
• Ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.
• PC skills in word processing.
• Must be able to type 35wpm.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to bank customers inside and outside the branch, promoting products and services.
• Inform customers of benefits and features and refer to personal bankers and loan specialists as needed.
• Maintain a professional image and represent the Bank in a positive manner.
• Support branch goals through targeted product referrals.
