Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank, and this role will establish and scale the operating foundation. You will own the Finxact core and digital banking experiences, lead deposit and lending operations strategy, and partner with servicing teams to build resilient, well‑controlled processes that deliver transparent, reliable financial products.

You will drive operational readiness, implement robust controls, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with Compliance and Product teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience implementing, configuring, or administering a core banking platform.
• Experience with Finxact or another modern cloud‑native core is strongly preferred.
• Experience owning digital account openings and online/mobile platforms.
• Knowledge of deposits, lending operations, and reconciliations.
• Ability to design and operate controls with segregation of duties and audits.
• Understanding of bank regulatory and risk expectations in multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer Finxact as the core system of record and related product structures.
• Oversee Savana and integrated digital account opening and online/mobile banking.
• Translate needs into requirements and lead UAT, releases, and issue resolution.
• Lead end‑to‑end launch readiness, testing, cutover, and business‑as‑usual transitions.
• Direct daily deposit operations including reconciliations and regulatory reporting.
• Direct lending operations validating underwriting and funding decisions.
• Oversee loan purchase/sale operations, documentation, and settlements.
• Build and maintain enterprise controls and governance, with Compliance involvement.
