Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market seeks an Assistant Bakery Manager in Suwanee, GA to lead Bakery Clerks under the Bakery Manager and supervise daily department operations. You’ll drive productivity, ensure quality and maintain safety standards while delivering a welcoming customer experience.

The role requires at least 2 years of retail grocery supervisory experience, strong communication, a friendly demeanor, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. A Food Handlers permit is required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior and strong customer interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure excellent customer service and quality of Bakery products.
• Unload deliveries and operate bakery equipment; maintain sanitation guidelines.
