Sprouts Farmers Market in Peachtree Corners, GA is seeking a Bakery Manager to oversee the bakery department's overall performance, staffing, and customer experience. You will manage daily baking output, quality, inventory, and budgets, while ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.

The role requires 18+ with 2 years in retail grocery, strong leadership, and excellent communication. You will recruit, hire, and promote and coach team members in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with 2+ years of retail grocery experience.
• Dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Strong communication and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Stand up to 3 hours at a time; lift up to 40 lbs; work up to 10 hours per shift.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights & Measures regulations; obtain Food Handlers permit.
• Knowledge of personnel, margin, and weekly sales reports and financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily baking output, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise product quality, monitor inventory, and manage bakery budget.
• Evaluate and implement improvements for department operations.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling practices.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, and storage of bakery items.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays to maximize sales.
• Plan staffing, schedules, and labor to meet Sprouts standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Recruit, hire, and promote in collaboration with the Store Manager.
