Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the bakery clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You will manage ordering, inventory control, product quality, and store displays while ensuring top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining sanitation standards, and coordinating with the Bakery Manager to optimize productivity and department profitability.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of retail grocery experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong communication and teamwork.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders, and to train or supervise others.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate loads.
• Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and obtain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in supervising bakery department operations.
• Lead Bakery Clerks and drive merchandise productivity and department profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory, quality control, and staff supervision.
• Rotate merchandise, build displays, and monitor damaged items.
• Ensure excellent customer service and monitor bakery product quality.
• Unload deliveries, operate deli equipment, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Enforce company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
