Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and support daily bakery operations. You will help manage ordering, inventory, displays, and product quality while ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.

In this role you’ll deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment, help train staff, and support the Bakery Manager to drive department performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail grocery experience and two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines and valid Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in supervising Bakery Clerks and daily bakery operations.
• Manage ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and displays.
• Ensure merchandise rotation, inspect deliveries, and maintain equipment.
• Uphold health, safety, and sanitation guidelines across the bakery.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
