Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during shifts, coach team members, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while upholding quality, cleanliness, and teamwork standards. You will assist with opening/closing, cash handling, and daily reporting, and support cake decoration and production as needed.

The role emphasizes leading by example in a fast-paced environment with strong emphasis on customer service, food safety, and a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible availability, including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.
