Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations on assigned shifts and support the team across all bakery areas. You will help ensure outstanding guest service while upholding high standards for quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

You will coach staff, manage opening/closing, cash handling, and daily reporting, and ensure food safety and sanitation. The role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in retail or food service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver guest experiences.
• Oversee daily bakery operations during shifts and ensure smooth execution.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture reflecting the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.
