Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in San Diego is seeking a Shift Leader who will work alongside the Assistant Bakery Manager and Bakery Manager to deliver high-quality cakes, a warm guest experience, and strong sales. You’ll coach teammates, schedule shifts, and help drive profitability while upholding NbC standards.

Flexibility with shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. This role offers growth within a growing brand and culture that celebrates community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside management to drive sales and profitability.
• Lead, coach and develop team members to deliver superior guest experiences.
• Oversee day-to-day bakery operations to ensure NbC standards.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and directing tasks as needed.
