Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Leader in our San Diego store to work alongside the Assistant Bakery Manager and Bakery Manager, leading a team to deliver NbC’s high-quality cakes and guest experience.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail/food service, with leadership capabilities and a passion for coaching others. Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.
• Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, based on changing business demands.

• Lead the shift alongside management to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
• Drive sales and profitability by executing daily tasks and standards.
• Coach and train team members to deliver high-quality service and food safety.
