Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Bakery Operations Manager to lead a high‑energy, all‑hands‑on‑deck team in a fast‑paced bakery. You will build and coach a Shift Leader and Cookie Crew, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, quality cookies, and efficient operations across late‑night shifts.

You’ll own performance metrics, drive local marketing efforts, and partner with district leadership to hit sales targets while developing your team for future growth in a growing brand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or leadership experience in a fast‑paced customer‑facing environment.
• Availability to work a schedule including 2–3 mid‑to‑late shifts (Thu–Sun).
• Hands‑on, player‑coach leadership style with coaching and development focus.
• Track record of hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining great teams.
• Natural hospitality mindset and commitment to guest experience.
• Strong business acumen: prioritize goals and drive action.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfort with restaurant/retail tech and business systems.
• Ability to obtain required food safety certifications for the location.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily bakery operation, ensuring shifts are staffed, prepared, and set up for success.
• Maintain high standards for cookie quality, speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and safety.
• Own scheduling and labor execution to balance team needs with business needs.
• Manage ordering, inventory, rotation, shrink, and bakery controls.
• Maintain routines and quickly address gaps when standards aren’t met.
