Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Bakery Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced, late-night bakery team. You’ll hire, coach, and develop staff, maintain high quality and guest service, and drive sales and bakery performance.

This hands-on leadership role requires nights/weekends, strong hospitality, and ability to coach through busy shifts while building a culture of excellence. Competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or leadership experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Ability to work a schedule that reflects bakery needs, including 2–3 mid-to-late shifts during the latter part of the week (Thu–Sun).
• Hands-on, player-coach leadership style with willingness to jump in where needed.
• Track record of hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining great teams.
• Natural hospitality mindset with commitment to guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operation of your bakery, ensuring shifts are staffed and set up for success.
• Maintain high standards for cookie quality, speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Own scheduling and labor execution to balance team and business needs.
• Manage ordering, inventory accuracy, product rotation, shrink, and other bakery controls.
• Lead local marketing drops and in-store recognition programs/contests.
• Build a culture of excellence that grows sales and guest satisfaction.
