Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Bakery Operations Manager to lead a busy bakery, build a strong team, and own day-to-day results. You will hire, coach, and develop staff while delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving sales and operational performance.

This hands-on role requires managing schedules, inventory, and bakery standards, with opportunities for growth as the company expands. Evening and weekend shifts are expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or leadership experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts Thu-Sun.
• Hands-on, player-coach leadership style with ability to coach teams.
• Strong hospitality mindset delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Proficiency with restaurant/retail software and MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams; ATS experience.
• Familiarity with using commercial convection ovens is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operation of your bakery, ensuring shifts are staffed and ready.
• Maintain high standards for cookie quality, speed, accuracy, and cleanliness.
• Manage scheduling, labor execution, and inventory controls.
• Lead guest experience and coach teams to deliver friendly, fast service.
• Develop Shift Leaders and build a strong talent pipeline.
