Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Bakery Operations Manager in a fast-paced, late-night environment. You will lead a diverse team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and own daily bakery performance to drive sales and quality.

You will hire, coach, and develop Shift Leaders and Delivery Drivers while maintaining strict inventory, safety, and operational standards to ensure consistent guest satisfaction and business growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or leadership experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work 2–3 mid-to-late shifts Thu–Sun.
• Hands-on, player-coach leadership style with coaching and hiring experience.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and retain great teams.
• Natural hospitality mindset with exceptional guest service.
• Strong business acumen to analyze performance and set priorities.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using restaurant/retail technology and systems.
• Ability to obtain food safety certifications and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day bakery operations, staffing, and setup for each shift.
• Maintain cookie quality, speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Own scheduling and labor execution to balance team needs and business.
• Oversee inventory, rotation, shrink, and bakery controls.
• Lead local marketing drops and in-store recognition programs.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and develop Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew, and Delivery Drivers.
• Build a culture with clear expectations and accountability.
• Drive sales, performance metrics, and bakery results.
• Partner with district leadership to solve problems and improve operations.
• Develop local community connections through marketing activities.
