Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Bakery Operations Manager for our Lakewood, Ohio store. You will build and lead a diverse team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, top cookie quality, and strong sales performance.

You will own day-to-day bakery operations, staffing, training, and performance, while actively coaching teams through late-night rushes and busy periods. This role offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced, expanding brand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management/leadership experience in a restaurant or retail establishment.
• Availability to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thu–Sun).
• Benevolent leadership style with a player-coach mentality for day-to-day management.
• Innate hospitality and ability to deliver exceptional guest service to all guests.
• Solid technical acumen regarding restaurant/retail software, proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams and ATS.
• Familiarity with using commercial convection ovens is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach and develop a diverse part-time hourly staff including Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew and Delivery Drivers.
• Lead service components: food quality, customer service, staff friendliness, and store cleanliness.
• Establish a culture of excellence prioritizing cookie quality, service and sales performance.
• Manage and audit inventory to maintain proper controls.
• Create and execute local marketing drops to drive traffic.
• Develop in-store recognition programs and contests.
