Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Bakery Operations Manager in a fast-paced store environment. You will hire, coach, and develop a diverse team, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, quality cookies, and strong sales performance.

This hands-on leadership role requires you to manage day-to-day operations, schedule, inventory, and local marketing initiatives, with opportunities for growth as the brand expands in the area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or leadership experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Availability to work a schedule that reflects the needs of the bakery, including 2-3 mid-to-late shifts during Thurs-Sun.
• Hands-on, player-coach leadership style with willingness to jump in where needed.
• Track record of hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining great teams.
• Natural hospitality and commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Strong business acumen and ability to analyze performance and turn goals into action.
• Comfort learning and using restaurant/retail technology and business systems.
• Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operation of your bakery, ensuring each shift is staffed, prepared, and set up for success.
• Maintain high standards for cookie quality, speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Own scheduling and labor execution, balancing team needs with business needs.
• Manage ordering, inventory accuracy, product rotation, shrink, and other bakery controls.
• Maintain strong operational routines and address gaps when standards aren’t met.
• Lead customer service that feels welcoming, energetic, and unmistakably Insomnia.
