Insomnia Cookies Lakewood is hiring a Bakery Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced team in a busy cookie bakery, ensuring quality, hospitality, and strong sales.

You’ll recruit and develop Shift Leaders, drive guest experience, and own scheduling, inventory, and local marketing. This hands-on role offers mentorship, growth, and a path to leadership in a growing brand. Evening and weekend shifts are common; you’ll influence culture and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management/leadership experience in a restaurant or retail establishment.
• Availability to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thu–Sun).
• Hands-on, player-coach leadership style for day-to-day management.
• Strong hospitality mindset and ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams; experience using an Applicant Tracking System.
• Familiarity with commercial convection ovens is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, coach, and develop a diverse part-time hourly staff.
• Lead service components including food quality, customer service, and store cleanliness.
• Establish a culture of excellence prioritizing cookie quality, service, and sales.
• Manage ordering, inventory accuracy, product rotation, and shrink.
• Create and execute local marketing drops and in-store recognition programs.
