Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Bakery Operations Manager to lead a busy, late‑night bakery. You will hire and develop a strong team, own day‑to‑day operations, and drive guest experiences and sales results in a fast‑paced environment.

You’ll coach through peak periods, manage labor and inventory, and build a culture of accountability and guest delight. Opportunities for career growth exist as Insomnia expands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or leadership experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Availability for a bakery schedule including 2-3 mid-to-late shifts Thu-Sun.
• Hands-on, player-coach leadership style and willingness to jump in where needed.
• Track record of hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining great teams.
• Natural hospitality mindset and commitment to guest experience.
• Strong business acumen to set priorities and turn goals into action.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with restaurant/retail technology and business systems.
• Ability to obtain required food safety certifications.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day bakery operations, ensuring shifts are staffed, prepared, and set up for success.
• Maintain high standards for cookie quality, speed, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Own scheduling and labor execution to balance team needs with business needs.
• Manage ordering, inventory accuracy, product rotation, shrink, and other bakery controls.
• Maintain operational routines and quickly address any gaps.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and develop Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew, and Delivery Drivers.
• Create a culture of clear expectations, recognition, and accountability.
• Provide consistent coaching and real-time feedback to help people grow.
• Develop Shift Leaders who can lead great shifts and solve problems.
• Build a talent pipeline for future growth and opportunities.
• Lead local marketing activities to drive awareness, traffic, and sales.
