Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader to guide bakery operations, bake and package orders, and deliver outstanding guest service. You’ll coach the Cookie Crew, delegate tasks, and help maintain quality, safety, and speed of service in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or customer-focused setting.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
• Positive attitude and guest-service focus.
• Must be 18+ and able to obtain local food safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering guest service.
• Lead bakery operations during shift to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew with clear direction and feedback.
• Prioritize tasks and delegate to run smooth operations.
• Maintain product quality, safety, cleanliness, and speed.
• Handle cash, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates with store leadership and team.
