Job summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain product quality, and drive bakery profitability. This leadership role requires hands-on involvement across cake production, staffing, scheduling and daily operations.

As a key ambassador of NbC values, you will coach staff, uphold safety and brand standards, and coordinate with corporate accounts for special orders while supporting community

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service.
• Experience coaching others and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable with new tech.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes guest experience and fosters a positive work environment.
• Leads with Bakery Manager in guest experience, cake production, and inventory control.
• Assists in recruiting, training, directing daily work, and coaching.
• Ensures product, service, and safety standards are upheld.
• Assists in scheduling, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment for individual and corporate orders.
• Supports opening/closing duties including cash handling.
• Participates in marketing events and local community brand-building.
• Maintains knowledge of all bakery roles to cover business needs.
