Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes Carle Place is seeking a personable Guest Service Representative to warmly welcome guests, assist with purchases and create a joyful, memorable bakery experience. You will educate guests on cake options, assist with special occasions, and engage customers at the point of sale.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greets walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs, and follows NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
• Maintains strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinctions, sizes, flavor profiles, pricing, promotions, and merchandise.
• Suggests additional merchandise to complete a celebration.
• Processes guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing the point-of-sale system and invites guests to join NbC reward program.
• Upholds a clean and organized bakery presentation, including routine cleaning and display maintenance.
• Replenishes retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure strong visual presentation.
• Assists the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Complies with health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and hygiene.
• Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality.
