Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in day-to-day operations. You will supervise staff, manage merchandising, and uphold quality and safety standards in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years retail grocery experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must follow safety guidelines and have a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

Lead Bakery Clerks and assist Bakery Manager in daily supervision of Bakery operations.
Assist in department merchandising for productivity and profit.
Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Bakery team supervision.
Rotate merchandise and build displays.
Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure product quality.
Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment as needed.
Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
