Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department with a strong focus on quality, service, and efficiency. You will supervise daily baking, display, inventory, and budgeting while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

In this role you’ll coach team members, manage schedules, and collaborate with store leadership to drive sales and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with 2+ years of retail grocery experience.
• Dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Outgoing customer-focused attitude with clear communication.
• Able to take orders, answer phones, and handle special requests.
• Ability to stand long shifts and operate kitchen equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bakery output, production, and product displays.
• Supervise quality, inventory, and bakery budget adherence.
• Evaluate operations and implement improved practices.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards.
• Manage ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising.
• Schedule staffing and manage labor costs to Sprouts standards.
• Lead coaching, feedback, and performance reviews with the Store Manager.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
