Job summary

Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI is seeking a pastry baker to accurately and efficiently bake pastries, breads, desserts, and doughs for Market Fresh Buffet, banquets, and ToGo retail. You will prepare items for proofing, mixing, and baking using ovens, mixers, proofers and other kitchen equipment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of bakery experience and can communicate clearly with kitchen staff. You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for up to 9 hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and baking.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Stand for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).

Job Location: Chula Vista Resort - Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965, Accurately and efficiently bake and produce pastries, breads, desserts and doughes.. Must be able to maintain freshness and quality of all bakery products for the Market Fresh Buffet, banquets and Market Fresh ToGo (retail), according to Chula Vista standards and requirements.

Prepares a variety of pastries, breads, desserts and other food items for proofing, mixing and baking in ovens, mixers, proofers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
