Job summary

You will prepare items for proofing, mixing, and baking using ovens, mixers, proofers and other kitchen equipment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of bakery experience and can communicate clearly with kitchen staff. You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for up to 9 hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and baking.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Stand for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently bake and produce pastries, breads, desserts for the Market Fresh Buffet, banquets and Market Fresh ToGo (retail).
• Prepare a variety of pastries, breads, desserts for proofing, mixing and baking in ovens, mixers, proofers and other kitchen equipment.
