Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in a fast-paced bakery environment seeks a Bakery Clerk to assist in preparing, baking, packaging, and presenting all baked goods. You will support the Bakery Manager and maintain cleanliness, stock, and pricing accuracy while providing friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years Bakery experience; or a combination.
• Dependable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly, positive attitude, able to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders; maintain cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure products are presented clean and well stocked.
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep and sanitize.
• Stock, rotate, and ensure pricing accuracy; discard spoiled items when needed.
• Receive and log products for shipment; inspect temperature and quality.
