Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support daily bakery operations, including preparing and packaging baked goods and assisting customers with orders. The role emphasizes accuracy, cleanliness, and friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

You will help the Bakery Manager with pricing, merchandising and maintaining a safe, organized workspace while ensuring all items are fresh and properly labeled. Flexible scheduling and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent mix of education/experience.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have a friendly attitude, strong communication and the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to take direction and work in a team environment and answer phones/special orders.
• Able to maintain cleanliness and safety in the bakery area and operate required tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure products are prepared, packaged and presented properly.
• Maintain clean, safe and sanitary bakery area and equipment; clean shelves, floors and surfaces.
• Stock, fill, rotate, and ensure pricing accuracy; discard outdated items.
