Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package all baked goods and support bakery operations. You will help the Bakery Manager with prep, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising while delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires standing for long periods, handling weights, and maintaining clean, safe bakery areas with proper safety practices. Evening and weekend availability is often needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years Bakery experience preferred.
• Be dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer interaction and teamwork.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders; maintain cleanliness and safety in the department.
• Able to operate necessary tools and equipment listed (knives, scales, wrappers, etc.).
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
