Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare, bake, package and present baked goods while delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will assist the Bakery Manager, maintain cleanliness, stock items, log shipments, and ensure safety and quality in a busy bakery area.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have an outgoing and friendly demeanor, positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, package, price and merchandise all baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and maintain cleanliness of the bakery area.
• Maintain clean, safe and sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep and sanitize.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate items and discard spoiled products.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast paced environment and engage customers.
