Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly; positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders; maintain cleanliness and safety in the department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, package and present bakery goods.
• Assist Bakery Manager with prepping, baking, pricing, and merchandising.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared and displayed.
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment; sweep and sanitize as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and check pricing; discard outdated items and log shipments for quality.
