Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist in preparing, baking, packaging, and merchandising baked goods while delivering exceptional customer service. You will help maintain a clean, safe bakery area and support pricing accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior and a positive attitude to interact with customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the bakery area.
• Able to stand for long hours and operate bakery equipment safely.
• Follow safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure proper presentation and sanitation
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment; clean shelves, floors, and cases
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing; rotated products and discard outdated items
• Receive, inspect, and log product shipments for accuracy and quality
• Stand and work in a fast-paced environment
