Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package baked goods and to assist with pricing and merchandising. You will provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, safe bakery area in a fast-paced store environment.

The role involves standing for long periods, operating knives and scales, and following safety and food-handling regulations. A friendly, teamwork-driven attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior, have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Have good communication skills; and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package all baked goods.
• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented clean and sanitary.
