Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare, package, and present baked goods while delivering exceptional customer service. You will assist in pricing, merchandising, and maintaining cleanliness in the bakery area.

The role requires 1–2 years bakery experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with the ability to stand and lift as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age with a HS diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years bakery experience or combination of education and experience.
• Dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager with prep, baking, packaging, pricing and merchandising of all baked goods.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, presented, and the bakery area is clean.
• Maintain a clean, safe bakery area and equipment; clean shelves, keep floors clean, remove hazards.
• Stock, fill, face, price and rotate bakery products; discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy of temperature and quality.
