Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist in baking, packaging, and merchandising baked goods. You will deliver a high level of customer service and help maintain a clean, safe bakery area in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years bakery experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a friendly, team-oriented attitude. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior and a positive attitude with customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure bakery items are prepared, packaged, and presented cleanly.
• Keep the bakery area clean, safe, and sanitary; sweep and inspect products for quality and expiration.
