Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare, package, and present baked goods while delivering friendly, attentive customer service in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll assist the Bakery Manager with pricing, merchandising, and rotating products, maintain a clean and safe department, and handle stocking, wrapping, and special orders. This role requires 1–2 years bakery experience and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years bakery experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and strong customer service skills.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the department, follow food-handling rules.
• Stand for long periods; lift up to 40 lbs; operate bakery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure items are well presented.
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep and tidy shelves.
• Stock, fill, rotate, and ensure pricing accuracy; discard spoiled items.
• Receive and inspect shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Handle fast-paced environment and support team as needed.
