Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist in preparing, baking, and merchandising bakery items. You will deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting, ensuring products are well presented and rotated for freshness.

The role requires a friendly attitude, strong teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple tasks including prices, packaging, and order-taking while maintaining a clean bakery area.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Reliable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to operate utensils and equipment like knives, scales, wrappers and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are well prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment quality and temperature.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively.
