Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare, package, and present baked goods with a focus on excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include assisting the Bakery Manager with baking, merchandising, pricing, and maintaining a clean bakery area to ensure quality and safety standards.

The role requires 18+, HS diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years bakery experience, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable education/experience mix.
• Be dependable and flexible, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; able to take directions and work collaboratively.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area and equipment.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform light lifting as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented properly.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep and clean shelves.
• Stock, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment quality and temperature.
• Thrive in a fast paced environment and support bakery operations as needed.
