Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package baked goods while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced setting. You will assist the Bakery Manager, maintain cleanliness, and ensure accurate pricing and product rotation.

The role requires 18+ years old, 1-2 years bakery experience, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Daily tasks include safety, sanitation, and courteous customer interactions at the bakery counter.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years Bakery experience preferred.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to take direction and work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to stand for long periods and maneuver items safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package all baked goods under supervision.
• Provide high level of customer service and keep bakery items properly prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; clean shelves and floors.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log product shipments for quality and temperature.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other packaging tools as needed.
