Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. in Bellevue, TN seeks a Retail Production Team Lead to oversee backroom operations, including donation intake, processing, sorting, pricing, and material handling, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will lead a hands-on team, train staff, monitor workflows, safeguard donated goods, uphold donor experiences, and coordinate with store leadership to support sales performance and mission impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Management, Retail Operations, or a related field preferred.
• One to two years of production, warehouse, retail, or logistics experience required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily backroom production operations (donation intake, sorting, processing, pricing, material handling).
• Provide hands-on leadership to backroom staff to meet production goals and processing expectations.
• Monitor daily workflow and productivity from intake to production.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with processing guidelines and CPSC requirements.
• Safeguard donated goods to prevent loss or damage throughout the production process.
• Train, onboard, coach, and develop backroom team on processes, safety, and standards.
• Coordinate movement of processed goods from backroom to sales floor in line with priorities.
• Maintain backroom safety and cleanliness by enforcing safety protocols and addressing hazards.
