Penske is expanding its sales team in Frederick, MD, to drive growth in our rental product lines. The Rental Sales Representative will build the customer base through direct sales, manage accounts, and support fleet planning and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sales experience in B2B
• Experience with lead generation, cold calling, and proposal development
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about products, prices, availability, terms
• Recommend products based on customer needs
• Contact customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders
• Estimate or quote prices, terms, warranties, and delivery dates
• Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support
• Prepare estimates and bids meeting customer needs
• Identify prospective customers via directories, leads and events
• Arrange delivery and installation of products and equipment
• Monitor market conditions and competitors’ products/prices
• Deliver sales talks and persuade customers to purchase
