Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a B2B Outside Sales Representative to drive Genius and other solutions for SMBs in the restaurant, retail, and service sectors. You will build a robust pipeline through field prospecting, digital outreach, and local networking, and deliver value-based presentations in person or virtually.

Qualifications

• Proven success in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or merchant services (min. 1 year outside sales).
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, comfortable in person and virtual sales.
• High energy, self-motivated, results-driven with a team mindset.
• Professional presence and ability to connect with business owners and earn trust quickly.
• Comfortable spending 75% of time in the field with a valid driver’s license.
• Must live within 2 hours of the job posting location.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales for Genius and other Global Payments solutions to SMBs across restaurant, retail, and service industries.
• Own and manage a consistent pipeline through field prospecting, digital outreach, and local networking.
• Deliver consultative, value-based presentations in-person and virtual to show how Genius helps merchants streamline payments, operations, and loyalty.
• Collaborate with your District Manager to identify opportunities, set appointments, and close sales in a short cycle.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in Atlas and Salesforce, including notes and follow-ups.
