Job summary

TriNet is seeking a Sales Consultant to pursue new prospects and build a personal book of business within a defined territory. You will share TriNet's value proposition and close opportunities with mid-market clients requiring comprehensive HR solutions, payroll, and benefits.

You will develop annual plans to hit targets, qualify opportunities, and maintain a robust pipeline through calls, emails, and LinkedIn while collaborating with ecosystem partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Typically 3+ years B2B complex sales cycle experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan: Develop an annual plan to hit targets in defined territory.
• Prospect: Build a pipeline through cold calling, email, LinkedIn and partnerships.
• Qualifying opportunities: Assess target market and personas quickly.
• Value & Consultative Selling: Establish a trusted advisor relationship with clients.
• Sales Process: Manage a multi-step selling process with defined criteria and stakeholders.
• Travel: Willingness to travel to prospective clients within your territory.
• Administrative tasks: Complete all duties in a timely manner.
