Job summary

Orkin is recruiting an Outside Sales Rep to join its Commercial sales team. You will learn Orkin’s products and services, identify new and existing customers, and propose pest prevention solutions.

Qualifications

• No industry experience required; sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Understand Orkin’s products and services and how to sell them to a variety of industries.
• Make strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to prevent pests, uphold quality and safety, and meet regulatory standards.
• Build trusted relationships as a partner protecting customers’ business.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
• Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
• Inspect interiors and exteriors of customer properties and propose effective solutions.
• Prepare sales agreements using the provided iPad and stay organized.
