Job summary

Orkin is looking for an Outside Sales Rep to join the Commercial sales team. You will understand Orkin’s products, make strategic recommendations to prevent pests, and build trusted relationships with diverse industries. You’ll meet sales goals through prospecting, inspections, and effective solutions.

Qualifications

• No experience required; sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers inside their businesses and/or homes.

Responsibilities

• Understand Orkin’s products and services and how to sell them to a variety of industries.
• Make strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to prevent pests and satisfy regulatory standards.
• Solve problems and build trusted relationships as an essential partner protecting their business.
• Listen to needs and clearly explain practical solutions to win over customers with confidence and care.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
• Conduct inspections of the interior and exterior of the customer’s property.
• Make recommendations based on inspection and address questions while setting expectations for peace of mind about the pest program.
• Use the iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.
