Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Technician to install server racks, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, and support 24/7 data center operations. You will engage with engineers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure high availability.

The role requires on-call rotation, the ability to travel between data centers, and lifting up to 40 pounds. A relocation stipend is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking experience.

Responsibilities

• Install server racks, perform hardware repair and diagnose network issues.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Join on-call duties and participate in maintenance and change management.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements.
• Assist in interviewing, training, and onboarding new team members.
