Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our AWS team in Lithia Springs, GA. The role focuses on server hardware, rack installations, and network troubleshooting to keep our cloud infrastructure running with high availability.

As part of a diverse team, you will troubleshoot, document, and improve processes while supporting 24/7 operations. Travel within and outside the region is required, and relocation support is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Knowledge of network design and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting.
• Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
• Experience managing work through a ticketing system.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix; troubleshoot network issues; respond to operational incidents.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders including engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements based on issue analysis.
• Help train and onboard new team members.
