Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an AWS Connect Developer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS serverless services. You will build IVR flows, Python functions, and secure API integrations to ensure reliable routing and data access.

You will automate infrastructure with Terraform, manage GitLab CI/CD, document flows, and mentor junior developers to adopt best practices across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8–15 years IT experience with 3–4 years cloud engineering.
• At least 4 years debugging Windows or Linux in admin/support/engineering roles.
• Associate-level cloud certification required.
• Hands-on Amazon Connect configuration and administration.
• Python-based Lambda functions and RESTful API integrations.
• DynamoDB data modeling, Terraform provisioning, and GitLab CI/CD.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Amazon Connect flows with IVR, queue routing, transfers and error paths.
• Develop Python-based Lambda functions; validate responses and handle timeouts.
• Design DynamoDB tables and indexes for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Build secure RESTful integrations using API Gateway and Lambda.
• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure with Terraform; manage GitLab CI/CD.
• Implement least-privilege permissions and secure integration boundaries.
• Troubleshoot routing, latency, and availability with CloudWatch metrics.
• Document flows, contracts, deployment steps, and mentor others.
